Amidst the potatoes, corn and wheat that are grown in the sprawling and spacious farms of Boise, Idaho, Torrie Wilson, one of wrestling's most athletic wrestlers, emerged. Wilson started her professional career as a fitness model, however, in the latter part of the 90s she made a foray into sports entertainment after a trip to WCW. She was with her ex-boyfriend. Scott Steiner later invited Wilson to wrestle in his rings. The business lasted nearly 10 years. Wilson participated in WCW occasionally, was the manager of rivals like David Flair. Billy Kidman. The Filthy Aliens and Shane Douglas. Wilson became a part of WWE in the spring of 2001, following the acquisition of WCW. A combination of her sporting ability and passion for entertainment meant that Wilson was a great fit for WWE during a time WWE was in its highest level of activity. Wilson was a prominent figure in the era of WCW when WCW invaded WWE with the help of her (sometimes rival) Stacy Keibler. Wilson's involvement in WCW's women's WWE division started after the invasion. Wilson had memorable rivalries among them Keibler, Sable, Melina, etc. Family members were also at stake when she fought Dawn Marie for their honor.
