Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical show. Raised in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved in New York City at the age of eighteen to study acting at the Tisch School of the Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the New York club scene. Her performances were so impressive that the local press noticed. Then, she used her experience and fame, along with her personal training to both write and perform a show called Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she hosted on MTV was soon her task. When the show was over, she started appearing in films and television productions initially in smaller parts, but gradually establishing her acting career.
