Kari Sam Wuhrer born on 28th April 1968 is an American singer and actress. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. She is most known for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders and also her role as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a pay clerk as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has three siblings and brothers. The singer was in her teens who was a regular in the clubs, sneaking away from her family in order to perform.
